Hey there everyone, summer is upon us and I don’t know is it just me or everyone don’t feel like eating anymore. Rather I will prefer something cold. So here I am sharing something summer friendly “Shrikhand/Yogurt”. This is my mom’s recipe. It is super easy and yummy. Here is the quick video and for detailed recipe scroll down below.


·         Curd – 500ml

·         Sugar – half a cup

·         Cardamom powder – ¼  tbs

·         Nutmeg powder – ¼  tbs

·         Milk – 3 to 4 tbs

·         Saffron – few strands

·         Dry fruits for garnish


·         Take a cloth on a bowl and empty curd on it. Hold it altogether. Tie the top and hang it for 1 hours. You will see water separating from curd and curd will thicken up.

·         In milk add saffron and let it sit.

·         Remove curd from the cloth and mix with sugar.

·         Now add cardamom and nutmeg powder.

·         Time to add saffron milk and mix well.


There you go Shrikhand is ready. You can garnish it with dry fruits of your choice. I loved it and I am sure you will like it too. Do share your experience and I will see you next time.
